Pay close attention to the response from the followers of Jesus. They do not ask God to extend His hand of judgement on the evil spiritual leaders, or strike down the fallen government, or get them out of this persecution, but they ask God to give them boldness to move forward on mission with Him no matter the persecution coming at them.

Their urgency is NOT for a more comfortable life, but for conviction to continually join Jesus on mission. This request is consumed with God’s glory, not their comfort and they actually pray for more confrontation. Father God, keep my heart focused on You and Your mission. Do not allow me to seek comfort in this earth, but be comforted by Your Spirit as I boldly walk with You through this earth. Give me boldness today, to put into practice all You have spoken to me, and fight the good fight today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
