Worship. Connect. Grow. Go.
Why Should the Resurrection of Jesus Christ nearly 2,000 years ago bring “Comfort” today?
Because as resurrected Lord and God, the Living Messiah wants to live in us, encourage us, inspire and direct us, and to comfort us.
On Sunday, April 21st, we at South Holly Baptist will be celebrating the hope and comfort that we’ve found in Christ Jesus and would love to share that joy with you.
We’ll be starting with an early, informal “sunrise” service in our church foyer at 8 a.m. We’ll relate to the emotions of the women as they discovered the empty tomb at dawn.
Then comes breakfast and the celebration service. The free breakfast is at 9 a.m. Please come as our guests!
Worship Service will follow at 10:30 a.m.

We have Sunday morning classes at both 9:30 a.m. (Family Bible Hour) and 10:45 (Jr. Church). Sunday afternoons from 4:45-6:30 p.m. we host an AWANA Club for kids from 5 years through high school which includes Bible studies, games, life lessons, and the opportunity to earn awards and even college scholarships.
Men’s Bible Study
The Bible speaks of “iron sharpening iron” – which we men need to receive from God as He works through other men of God. Bible studies, accountability partners, and discussions on issues especially relevant to men are ways in which we seek to assist each other in our spiritual growth. Currently meeting monthly on Saturday mornings.
Women’s Bible Study
Through the Precepts Ministry materials of Kay Arthur our ladies are able to study God’s Word and make relevant application – while sharing and caring for one another in prayer and emotional support. Currently meets weekly on Fridays at our worship facility.
There is no greater need in the church today than to be a congregation that seeks to be dependent upon God for His wisdom, power, and provision. Prayer is central to our church remaining connected and sensitive to God’s leading and spiritual enablement. We meet Wednesdays at 7 p.m. to praise God for His attributes and to bring our needs to His throne of grace.
