Acts 7:26-27
“And on the following day he appeared to them as they were quarreling and tried to reconcile them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers. Why do you wrong each other?’ But the man who was wronging his neighbor thrust him aside, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?”

Moses attempts to be peacemaker between two Jewish slaves. Now this is a dispute between brethren and they reject him as well. Stephen is building his case one stone upon another stone against the religious rulers, and showing that all through their history they have rejected those that God sent to save, and redeem them.

Disbelief in God
Rejects God as
The Redeemer

Belief in God, calls us out of darkness and into a marvelous Light. The honor is for us who believe, but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”Father God, soften my heart again today towards Your Word and Your movement. Allow me to see Your Redeemer and His work, and not miss Your work now in this present time. Compel my heart to glorify You today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
