Acts 7:10
“and rescued him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.”
(Him) above is Joseph. He suffered a lot of affliction. This language is talking about pressure from the outside that should have crushed him. He did not experience a few inconveniences, but really difficult hardship.
AND GOD RESCUED HIM!
God is able and
Ready every time
To rescue His people
Our God is the same God today. You may be in the trial of your life, or just surfacing from a trial, or unknown to you, entering into a trial, but since Jesus was tempted and tested, and proved to be perfect through suffering He can save us and rescue us from this momentary affliction that feels like it could crush us at any moment. Father God, thank You for Your grace, mercy and love. Allow me to serve You from Your grace, experience Your mercy in every failure, and have Your peace perfected in my heart in every step of this day, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
