Legalism lacks love. These Judaizers (those who believe salvation can come from keeping the law of God perfectly) are hypocrites and cowards. They are hypocritical by telling others they must carry heavy loads, without getting their own hands dirty, and cowards because they have made this about a group project instead of people.

Being a hypocrite is sown in the soil of being a coward. If you’re not afraid of what people might think, say and do, you would never pretend to be someone you are not. The power over intense desire, habitual anger, anxiety that won’t quit and the lust of the flesh comes from Jesus, and His Spirit in and through us alone! Father God, thank You for placing Your Spirit in me, so that all Your power and might could work in me, changing me, and through me to glorify You. Allow Your Spirit to work in me today, in such a way, that I see people for who they are, listen to their story and care for them as You have cared for me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ACTION: Be bold and courageous with the compassion of Jesus.
