Acts 3:20
“that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,”
Peter is speaking to the nation of Israel, but just a few thousand are gathered here. Those specifically that need to change their mind about Jesus. These men and women thought that Jesus was a hoax and fake, and now Peter is telling them that this healed beggar was healed in the name of Jesus. Peter is explaining to them they need a change of mind, so they can receive a change of heart.

Repentance
They are having their minds changed as they believe Peter’s words, and as they repent they are receiving the refreshing Presence of God. Like walking into an air conditioned store on a sweltering hot day, the Presence of God brings a refreshing sense of Joy and Awe. Father God, thank You for Your work through Your Son Jesus, and the offer we have to repent at salvation and each day that brings with it Your refreshing Presence. Allow me to walk in this rhythm of repentance with You and others today, and experience Your refreshing Presence all day long, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
