Acts 3:12
“And when Peter saw it he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why do you wonder at this, or why do you stare at us, as though by our own power or piety we have made him walk?”
Peter saw what God was up to. God did this miracle at the right time, when many people would be coming for prayer, the beggar would fix his eyes on Peter, and a visual and audible miracle happened that drew a crowd.
This is not Peter’s
piety or power
But the Power and
Presence of God
When we are filled with the Spirit of God our Spiritual radar is better. Peter is paying attention to the Presence of God, and joining God at work. These divine opportunities are prepared for us before the foundation of time to walk in as we join Jesus on His mission and live these moments out. Too often we are focused on our own life, rather than the life and work of Jesus today. Don’t miss divine moments today, because you are controlled by self, instead walk in the Spirit and Truth of Jesus and fulfill God’s prepared plans for you today. Father God, fill me full with Your Spirit today, compel me to walk with You, and see Your divine work prepared for me today, and to boldly step with You and speak Your Word in each area of my life, starting at home, and moving into community, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ACTION: Walk in the Presence and power of God
