International Missions
For us at South Holly Church, our passion to share the Gospel extends to our neighbors, places we work,
and in the schools we attend. But it also includes our growing investment in Asia.
Working with a respected international ministry, we regularly send teams to serve alongside local pastors,
evangelists, church planters, and national leaders in outreach projects and in training. In this difficult part
of the world where people serve a very different god, bringing encouragement to followers of Jesus face
to face is a blessing that cannot be achieved from a distance.
The Great Commandment and the Great Commission are not just exercises in obedience, or compassion,
or pity. It’s personal. God has written our ministry partners- and our world – on our hearts. Our partners
have become our close friends, a resource we invest in, and a very real part of our lives.
Just like the Apostle Paul, we go to share our lives and show God’s love.
As those who’ve given our lives to Jesus Christ, our obedience to His Great Commission is not an option.
All over the world, God is calling people from many nations and cultures to Himself, and we play an
important role in the process. Our participation may take us across the street or even to the other side of
the world and a new culture, but our obedience to God is worth it. The fruit of our labor is eternal.
Mark - Pastor/Elder
Pastor Mark and his wife joined South Holly Church in 2024. He leads our Missions ministry. Their passion for Word-centered and Spirit-empowered service comes from their ongoing staff position with an international missions agency. Since 2009, they have served in a very sensitive region of the world taking more than 70 people with them. Their photos and additional information are not posted for security purposes.
