Healthy For a Purpose

What makes a church healthy? It’s not a full building, a full budget, or a full calendar. A healthy church produces gospel fruit.

This Sunday we’re starting a new mini series in Acts 11, in a city called Antioch. The early church had just watched Stephen get stoned to death. So they ran. They packed up their homes and their kids and got out of town.

And here’s the crazy part. The people who changed Antioch weren’t apostles. They weren’t Paul or Barnabas. Scripture doesn’t even give their names. They were ordinary people who stopped asking God “why” and realized He’d sent them there.

You’ve been sent too. To your neighborhood, your job, your kid’s soccer field. And God never sends you anywhere He isn’t already working.
