Shannon Popp

Lead Pastor

I’m a Colorado native, married to my wonderful wife, Ginger, and together we are blessed with three children. We have had the privilege of serving at South Holly Church for nearly seven years. I’m passionate about sharing the Gospel with authenticity, faithfully teaching God’s Word in a relatable way through stories and analogies, and emphasizing practical application through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our heart is to help people encounter the truth of Scripture, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and live out their faith within the community of God's people daily.

Joe Pitrone

Pastor/Elder

I’m Pastor Joe and I oversee Small Groups at South Holly.  Jesus reached multitudes but was very close with a small group of people.  We encourage that same closeness through our small groups so that we can get to know the needs of those around us and meet those needs by walking along side each other.  The health of every child of God depends on God’s Word, God’s Spirit and God’s People.

Mark

Pastor/Elder

Even before I became a follower of Jesus, I had a fascination with Asia. Almost two decades ago, the Lord opened a door for me to lead an international trip there. I resisted for months, but the Lord was relentless, so I gave in. As He often does, God surprised me, transforming my heart and giving me his passion for lost people there. It was through this that I truly discovered what God intended for me. Now, I love helping people discover who God made them to be! Equally surprising was the way we ended up at South Holly when God opened doors through some difficult obedience to Him. My wife and I are excited to see how God uses our church family to make an eternal difference.

Mitch Swim

Executive Director

I am blessed to be the father of two incredible kids and the husband of our amazing Kids Ministry Director, Quinn!

God led me through a very unexpected and winding journey to find South Holly. After leaving active duty military in 2023, my family and I walked through the doors of South Holly just looking for a church to call home. We found that home and so much more.

It was clear to me on the first Sunday that God was doing something special in this church. Now all I want to do is be a part of what he is doing here, serving him and his people by ensuring behind the scenes operations drive forward the Mission and Vision of God's Church we call South Holly.

Quinn Swim

Kids Ministry Director

I am a Colorado native who is blessed to have 2 incredible children and also work alongside my wonderful husband, Mitch!

Prior to coming to South Holly, I had the opportunity of getting my elementary education degree through Colorado Christian University. Teaching full time was an awesome experience, but having kids put that calling on hold. After attending South Holly for about a year, the opportunity to serve as the Kids Ministry Director was something God seamlessly guided into place. I have had such joy in this role and feel so much purpose serving our next generation!

This ministry interacts with the most precious and vulnerable lives in our church body -- our children.  Therefore, the primary mission for our space is that all kids feel loved, safe and seen. This then creates a platform for the message of the Gospel to be shared.

I am blessed beyond belief to serve alongside incredible volunteers (parents, fellow church members, passionate teens) who make that mission possible!

Brittany Wingfield

Connect Director

I've always had a passion for people. Christ's love is the greatest example of what selfless love and serving others looks like, and it's His example that inspires the way I want to love and care for those around me.

The mission of the Connect Team is to make sure no one ever feels alone in a room full of people. Walking into a church for the first time, or even coming back after being away, can feel intimidating. I want every person who walks through our doors to know they are seen, heard, and genuinely cared for.

My hope is that people don't just experience a friendly greeting but feel welcomed into our church family in a meaningful way. We want to care for people at a heart level and help them find authentic connection, community, and a place where they can grow in their relationship with Christ.

It's a privilege to be part of a team that gets to reflect the love of Jesus by helping people feel at home from the very beginning.
