South Holly Kids

Welcome to South Holly Kids!  We want kids to encounter the living God, to know Him more deeply, and to understand His Ways by knowing His Word and how to apply it to their lives. A typical Sunday involves musical worship, teaching from the Bible, and a time of discussion. We also share prayer requests and encourage the children to pray for each other.
Our Kids Ministry Team is hand selected and thoroughly screened and trained for your family's safety and comfort.

South Holly Kids Classrooms

Nursery
Babies are engaged in a nurturing environment to learn and play. The worship service is piped into this room, allowing a quiet place for nursing moms when they need one.
Toddlers
Children who are 2 to 3 years old may join this class geared especially toward them. The Bible lesson is always kid-appropriate with simple activities to reinforce learning and build friendships.
Preschool Through 1st Grade
Our preschool - 1st grade classroom is a place of joy! It's engaging, intentional, and filled with energy to know and celebrate God's love for them as His children.
2nd Through 5th Grade
Kids in Grades 2–5 come to learn about the Word and ways of God through engaging teaching of the Bible and fun activities. We strive to create an environment where lasting friendships are formed centered around Jesus.

What to Expect

Check-in starts 15 minutes before service begins and closes 15 minutes after service begins. We invite you to come early and meet the terrific team who will be serving your kids.

We assign kids to classrooms according to their birthdate or grade. You will receive a nametag for your child and a corresponding pick-up tag for security purposes. If we need to reach you during the service, we will send a text message to your phone.

When is South Holly Kids Ministry available?
Sunday mornings check-in begins at 9:40am for our 10am service. Please then check-our your children after service from their classroom.
Are my kids in good hands?
Safety is our Number One concern. Upon check-in, you will receive a parent/guardian tag that permits you to enter. This tag is required in order to pick up your child as well. Additionally, only approved and scheduled team members wearing a badge are allowed in the area. Every adult serving in kids ministry has had background checked completed.
Do you have a space for nursing moms?
Yes! While space is tight in this building, you can find a room specifically for moms with babies. This room is located upstairs. Follow the signage on walls to locate the room.
Can I stay in my child’s room?
If you are new to South Holly and you are the primary contact on the child's security tag, you may enter the classroom for a few minutes to help your child adjust. You will need to show your security tag. You will not be able to stay more than 5 minutes. Teachers will send you a text or come get your from service if your child is having a hard time adjusting.
What if my child is sick?
We ask that you do not check in your kids if they are experiencing: fever above 99° in the last 24 hours, diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours, pink eye, persistent cough, strep throat, any contagious illness (flu, measles, whooping cough, etc.), any contagious or unexplained rash, or lice/scabies.
