“He dealt shrewdly with our race and forced our fathers to expose their infants, so that they would not be kept alive.”
It gets worse for them. Pharaoh hated them, to the point of killing them and asking them to murder their own baby boys. Pharaoh’s solution to the growing number of Jewish people, was to kill them and murder their babies. It was get worse before it would get worse.
Pharaoh was the
Director of death
Our God is the
Author of life
Even when evil men try to dictate death, our God, Life Himself, can use evil for His ultimate plan. Our God makes beauty out of ashes, graves into gardens, and turns thorn bushes into Cyprus trees. Father God, I praise You that nothing escapes Your great hand. That You are in control, even when life feels out of control. Help me to seek You in the storm, hear Your voice through the chaos, and walk with You in the battle today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
