Acts 1:3
“He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.”
His suffering refers to His crucifixion and the events leading up to His death. After He was dead Jesus revealed Himself alive to over 500 people over a 40 day period. The apostle’s testimony, and life before His death and after His resurrection is testimony that Jesus’s alive! They went from fearful cowards that deny Christ and cussing out a middle school girl to bold martyrs who died proclaiming Christ risen from the grave and fully alive!
The King is alive
The Kingdom is advancing
The fruit of the Spirit
is evident
The workers are few
Pray to the Lord
of the harvest
The Kingdom of God is in our midst now. It is not a kingdom with signs to be observed, nor will people say, “look there it is.” The King came to reign and rule in the hearts of His people, and to set up His throne as the King of our hearts. Jesus will return and set up His throne over all of the earth, but for now His Kingdom dwells in the hearts and minds of those that process Jesus is alive! Father God, Your Son, my King is fully alive! Thank You for making this crystal clear to me, and for drawing me close to You, and Your will. Help me to externalizations this internal Truth in my speech, and actions today. Allow this absolute Truth to be communicated verbally and non-verbally through love in each area of my life and calendar today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ACTION: Profess Jesus is alive!
