Gamaliel’s logic, is that of a Pharisees. It is not actual Truth. Many things that are ungodly have been started and continue to this day. Gamaliel, a Pharisees, is once again using human reasoning, not God’s Truth. This is not a good test for the short term, or another way of saying it, our lifespan. Ultimately God’s Truth and work endured for eternity, and man’s plans fall by the way side. It is true that

The Pharisees thought their role was to defend God’s honor, so they did not want to cause a controversy that put them on the wrong side. Father God, You are worthy of all my praise and worship. You fight for me, and win all Your battles. Help me to join You, as I worship You today. As I walk through this physical world, compel my heart to join Your efforts, instead of defend You to others. Allow my heart, mind, and actions to be with You, and allow my worship of You to compel me to join You in Your work today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
