Acts 1:11
“and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.””
These disciples are called to focus. They are gazing up into heaven, and these angels refocus them and tell them that Jesus’ return will be a physical, literal, and visible return. He will come back in the same way you saw Him go. Amen! This is the hope of all believers, that our King is returning. This Hope compels us in our day to day activity.

Living for Jesus
The uncertainty of His certain return serves as powerful motivation for Spirit-empowered living and serving. Father God, help me to lay aside all darkness and put on the armor of light as I walk with Jesus, looking for His return, and living on mission with Him. Help me to toil with You, while it is day, and walk in Your ambition, pleasing to You, as the day of our judgment is coming closer, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
