“sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
This Spiritual high gets very practical here. These young Christ followers are seeing and hearing the movement of God in the midst of persecution, and decide to take care of the hurting and those without. As their relationship with God grows deeper, they have a deeper level of understanding for those without.

Than to receive
As they devote themselves to heavenly realities, earthly needs become important to fill. They have devoted themselves to prayer and the Word, and the outcome seems to be brotherly love, and making sure nobody goes without. Father God, help me to think highly spiritual, and in deep realities of this life at the same time. As my mind is subject to You and Your Word, allow my actions to care for the hurting among us and love those around me well, in Jesus’ name, Amen
