Acts 7:20
“At this time Moses was born; and he was beautiful in God’s sight. And he was brought up for three months in his father’s house,”
Stephen is on trial for saying blasphemous words against Moses, but here, we see Stephen speaking Scripture about Moses and his birth. Moses was so beautiful as a baby that his glory filled the entire room. God forms us in our mothers womb, and God was preparing Moses even before his birth to deliver God’s people from oppression and pain.
Those God calls
God prepares
God’s plan was to save an entire nation, and even at Moses’ birth, while he was fragile and could not take care of himself, God took care of him. Father God, I praise You for Your sovereignty and Your good heart. You are controlling and perfectly good. Nothing slips away from Your grasp, and Your timing and plan are perfect. Help me to walk in Your way, that You prepared for me before the foundation of time, and trust Your hand each step of the way, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
