Acts 7:3
“and said to him, ‘Go out from your land and from your kindred and go into the land that I will show you.’”
Stephen is making his argument and his case for the spiritual leaders and those who have put him on trial. He begins with revealing to them that the place of worship is not a geographical area, but within ourselves and starts with our heart. “Go from your land” and “go into the land” From the beginning of God calling Abraham, worship was not about a place, but grace from God, and faith from this man
Worship is central
To our heart
Not centered
Around a building
Our Father is looking for people who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth – these are the True worshippers of God. Father God, thank You for the places to gather and the buildings we worship in, but compel me to worship You all day in Spirit and Truth no matter where I find myself. Allow my worship of You to be pleasing in Your sight, as the meditations of my heart and soul, the action of my hands and the words of my mouth are pleasing to You, my Rock and my Redeemer, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ACTION: Worship God
