Acts 7:25
“He [Moses] supposed that his brothers would understand that God was giving them salvation by his hand, but they did not understand.”

This piece to the puzzle was not mentioned in the Old Testament, but is mentioned here by Stephen. Specifically that Moses thought in his mind that his Jewish people would recognize him as their deliverer, but they did not and rejected him. This is to show these people that they and their forefathers have continually rejected God at every turn, and that they are in jeopardy of doing the same thing right now.

God is the Deliverer
God delivers His people
Through His chosen
people

Moses was the chosen instrument that God chose to save His people through and they rejected Moses and God. These people are in jeopardy of doing the same, by rejecting Jesus as their Savior now. Father God, there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Thank You for Jesus, His life and work, and for saving me, by opening my eyes to You, so that I could see Jesus as the only one who can save, and then humbling me before Your right hand, and saving me by grace through faith in Jesus. Help me to help others see this and submit to You, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
