Acts 4:31
“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”
This is quite the prayer meeting, and it needed to be. The leaders of this movement are being hauled into court and told to stop speaking the Word of God, specifically the gospel of Jesus Christ with boldness. The followers of Jesus do the right thing and hit their knees and turn their devoted attention to God. God shakes the dead walls and fills the people praying full of His Spirit. Getting more of me
These people already have the fullness of God residing in them, they now are being filled full, or asking God to take the reigns. Being filled by the Spirit, is to submit to His Spirit and will, to be fully controlled by God. The outcome is bold witnessing in the face of persecution. Father God, thank You for speaking boldly to me, and through me. Continue to help me submit to You in all areas of my life, so that when people hear and see boldness, they hear and see more of You and less of me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
ACTION: Pray for boldness on the hour every hour
