Acts 2:43
“And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”
The language here is a constant and continual sense of “awe” was coming over the people, over and over again. I’m not sure how many baptism services you have been apart of, but there is a next level of awe and excitement happening. They just witnessed 3000 souls get saved and baptized and looking around they see their neighbors co-workers, family and friends getting saved and baptized. Now they sit under the teaching of the Word of God through Peter and have the Word of God as their authority and the Spirit of God unify them in their hearts and minds bringing alignment to thousands of people at once.
The people are in awe
Of God and in
The comfort of the
Holy Spirit
When we are moved from death to life and darkness to light by the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we are in awe of God in our mind and heart. Father God, thank You for revealing who You are to me and causing a deep sense of awe in my heart and mind. Help me to choose to walk with others in this sense of who You are and lead others to You today, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
